Latest Huffington Post Column: The One About Franchising?

Franchising matters, and it matters a great deal. In lean economic times (like the ones we?ve been experiencing for a few years now), franchising can be a great source of job creation to stimulate needed economic growth.

I?ve become pretty well acquainted with franchising as a business model over the last 10 years. As a small business commercial lender, I?ve worked with franchisees from more than six dozen different franchised concepts. I?ve also become a franchisor and franchisee of my ?other? business, Kennedy?s All-American Barber Club. All this experience has given me a unique perspective on how important franchising is for our economy.
