Description
The Sales Support Supervisor is responsible for teaching, coaching and recognizing that the behaviors of the Sales Support Team members are appropriate to execute the business group(s) strategies (including inventory, merchandising, asset protection, store functionality and back office processes). The Sales Support Supervisor will be expected to drive business results by executing gap management plans and providing all customers with an excellent shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
30% Teach and coach the Sales Support Team members how to execute on their business area(s) strategies and improve individual and team performance. Ensure Sales Support team members obtain the appropriate knowledge and expertise to provide an excellent customer experience through the completion of internal training program requirements. Conduct regular team training meetings per the Company plan.
40% Analyze their Sales Support Team members' individual and team performance by completing regular coaching, monthly Associate Capability Reviews and quarterly PDG (Performance Development Goal)discussions with all Sales Support Team members, as well as across the store as necessary.
30% Create a profitable and engaging sales floor experience
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 or more years of Supervisory/Management experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or higher
- 1 or more years of Retail experience
- Merchandising and/or Inventory experience
- Warehouse experience
- Asset Protection experience
- Customer Service experience
